B&K Agency facilitated the policy roundtable on protecting transatlantic innovation at the European Parliament

18 November 2025 / Brussels, Belgium – B&K Agency facilitated the policy roundtable ‘Protecting Transatlantic Innovation’ hosted by the Tholos Foundation and MEP Tomáš Zdechovský (EPP, Czechia) in the European Parliament.

The event featured a discussion exploring how a stronger transatlantic partnership can protect digital innovation, enhance the competitiveness of European SMEs and ensure technological leadership on both sides of the Atlantic.

The International Trade Barrier Index, presented during the event, serves as a global comparative tool that helps policymakers, businesses and researchers to identify and measure the wide range of barriers that restrict trade. Providing clear, data-driven insights into tariffs, non-tariff measures, services restrictions and trade facilitation across countries, the TBI reveals how reducing barriers can enhance economic performance, improve market efficiency and foster more integrated and resilient global value chains.
