New Webinar Series ‘Politics & The City’ Explores the Strategies Behind Political Messaging

B&K Agency, in collaboration with the platform Ads & The City, is announcing the launch of the new webinar series – Politics & the City, the place to deep dive in the world of political communications and advocacy.

Politics & the City explores how political communication is constructed, contested, and communicated in the age of constant visibility. Together with the invited experts, we discuss the systems of meaning behind the campaigns, statements, slogans, and silences that shape public life today.

The title is a nod to cultural literacy and urban intelligence. Cities have always been the stage for power, protest, and persuasion. Politics & the City is here to unfold the nature of modern public life and explore politics behind every quote, ad, and press release.

“Political messaging doesn’t just follow policy, in fact, message is coming before it gets implemented. With this series, we’re creating a space to discuss, analyze and explain how narratives shape power, and how the related professionals can navigate the intersection of strategy, perception, and global culture,” says Tetiana Rak, the Founder of Ads & The City and Chief Operations Officer at We Are Innovation.

The industry is experiencing the time when the medium often is the message, and the algorithm is the arena. Thus, coming back to the foundational principles, established playbooks, and best practices is essential to ensure the success of the campaign.

“Developing comprehensive policies is a deliberate process, and the way policymakers, industry leaders, and associations communicate plays a crucial role in shaping effective outcomes. I look forward to learning from experts across different regions — how local context influences communication strategies, what the most effective tactics are, and which pain points resonate most with stakeholders,” comments Julia Kril, Executive Director at B&K Agency, EU-based public affairs firm.

Communications experts, policy staffers and advisors, impact-driven and advocacy organisations as well as journalists and media experts are invited to join the conversations.

Every month, Tetiana Rak together with Julia Kril will explain political communications together with the invited international experts.
