B&K Agency was featured in the book “Impresa è donna: Il coraggio di esserci, la forza di cambiare” (Business is female: the courage to be there, the strength to change), authored by Vincenza Frasca, Vice President of Confimi Industria, and Vice President of the Women’s Business Committee at the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, dedicated to women entrepreneurs in Italy and across Europe.
The book is written to address legal uncertainty that surrounds women enterprise in Italy, bringing together stories of women business owners across Italy. Vincenza reflects on their professional paths, the structural barriers they continue to face, and the need for clearer definitions and more effective policy tools to support women-led businesses. It emphasises the progress made and the opportunities ahead. Combining personal testimonies with institutional perspectives, the book aims to strengthen awareness and drive more coherent economic and policy frameworks for female entrepreneurship.
The story of B&K Agency and our Executive Director, Julia Kril, is presented as an example of an entrepreneurial journey shaped by her pursuit of independence, desire to exchange ideas, and her efforts to develop a structured organisation focused on bridging stakeholders and policymakers.
Vincenza Frasca noted: “Julia’s story perfectly represents the reality of many women entrepreneurs: not a linear path, but a journey built through courage, intuition and persistence.”
“Giving visibility to these experiences is not just about inspiration — it is about creating awareness, better data, and ultimately stronger policies to support women-led businesses. This is exactly the direction we must take, in Italy and at European level.”
Julia Kril, Executive Director at B&K Agency, said: “Vincenza is a fighting force for women entrepreneurs in Italy. Her vision is that a clear regulatory framework recognising women entrepreneurs can give women confidence and freedom they need to thrive as business owners, innovators, entrepreneurs, and investors. When women step into their power, they can literally change the world. I am immensely grateful for the opportunity to be a part of Vincenza’s journey.”
The feature in “Impresa è donna” reflects the broader role of B&K Agency in contributing to dialogue at the intersection of business, policy and society, and highlights the importance of recognising and supporting women entrepreneurs on the legislative level in the European Union.
